Communication is vital to delivering the spiritual guidance you, as a member of the clergy provide. AccentAccurate accent training helps you communicate more clearly and effectively. This allows you to have more impact in your work and to be available to serve a larger audience.

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) separates language into two parts: segmentals, which are the individual sounds of the consonants and vowels; and suprasegmentals, which are features of speech, such as stress, intonation, pitch, timing/rhythm, and loudness. AccentAccurate accent coaching is highly individualized, and is tailored to each client’s unique needs. Following ASHA guidelines, AccentAccurate incorporates a variety of strategies, including listening and imitating, phonetic training, minimal pair drill, use of visual aids, practice of vowel production, and learning/practicing correct stress patterns, as needed.

Clients typically start with our 12 session accent training program, however, some opt to extend their coaching, while others find that the 12 week program is sufficient for their needs. Although everyone’s rate of progress is different, consistent attendance at training sessions and ongoing practice between sessions are vital to the success of the accent coaching program.
