Do I need to see you in person?
No. All accent reduction coaching sessions are conducted over Zoom.
Will I lose my identity?
No. Our accent training teaches you American English pronunciation and accent patterns that you can use when you choose to do so.
Will I lose my accent overnight?
No. American accent training is a process that takes time. In addition to participating in our accent training sessions, you will have homework assignments between the sessions to practice the sounds and accent patterns you have learned.
How long will the accent reduction coaching take for me to learn American pronunciation?
Our Accent Concepts module is a 14-week American accent training session. However, many clients decide to continue with advanced accent reduction training modules to further refine their American pronunciation and improve communications.
Do I need to know English?
In order to benefit from our accent reduction training, you should be able to speak English at an intermediate level or above. That means you should be comfortable using English to:
- ask and answer questions using complete sentences;
- give directions to a location;
- ask for information;
- express your needs;
- offer your opinion.
